Volcan Fuego

This image was taken in Guatemala during an overnight trek to the summit of volcan Acatenango. Tired and out of breath after reaching the summit at 4000m at night, we made camp under an amazing sky full of stars. But when the sun came up, we had incredible views of the very active volcan Fuego spitting fire above the clouds. Despite the cold and elevation this was the perfect sunrise.
