Schleimuende in winter
Schleimuende is the mouth of the Schlei, which is Germany’s only fjord, to the Baltic Sea. The thin headland regulates the amount of sea water flowing into the fjord which is filled with brackish water. Due to climate change and the sea level rise in the Baltic Sea the amount of floodings increase on the fjord’s banks.
