Roll Cloud

I went to the Punta Palascia Lighthouse (Otranto) with the intent of shooting the lighthouse at sunset but, when I arrived on the spot, I was struck by the "mountain" of white clouds in the sky. Within about a minute I saw this huge tubular cloud heading very quickly towards me; as it approached the wind became stronger and stronger that it forced me to take the camera and hold the easel with one hand. Over the entire portion of the sea covered by the shadow of this huge bank of clouds, the water appeared rippled. After passing over my head, the cloud began to crumble. It was a magnificent sight.
