The Mundari are an agro-pastoralist ethnic group in South Sudan, primarily inhabiting the Nile Valley around Terekeka, characterized by a deep, symbiotic relationship with their massive-horned Ankole-Watusi cattle. Their lives, economy, and culture are centered on cattle, which serve as wealth, bride price, and daily sustenance (milk and blood), with the animals rarely slaughtered.
