Alizé – The Necessary Flight explores inner freedom as a possibility that exists before movement. Alizé is a gentle, steady wind. It evokes the invisible breath that accompanies wings and carries within it the promise of flight.

Resting in the hollow of my hands is a small bird. Motionless, it nevertheless seems inhabited by a secret impulse, the bearer of a pure idea of freedom. A freedom that exists even before movement, measured neither by the distance travelled nor by the possibility of taking flight, but remaining intact, silent, essential.
