What Are They Talking About?

What are they talking about? What is the photographer saying with his hand gesture? The subject looks very relaxed and comfortable in the pose and the photographer seems mildly agitated. Not being able to see facial expressions makes this image more mysterious than a traditional street image, and it is this mysteriousness that makes it a powerful image.
